With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Earnest Pressley who entered into rest April 12, 2025.

Mr. Pressley, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Joanna Pressley; two sons, Deon Pressley and Tyris Wright; his father, Mack (Petronia) Pressley II; three sisters, Betty Ann (Lewis) Bessix, Brittany Pressley and Keisha Pressley; four brothers, Emanuel Pressley, Mack (Brenda) Pressley III, Eugene (Frances) Pressley and Larry (Charlene) Pressley; eight grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church where the Rev., Dr. Sallie Cooks is the Interim Pastor and the Rev. Annie Thomas eulogist. Interment will follow in the Mt. Canaan Burial Society Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
