It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announced the transition of Mr. Edgar Louis McMillan who entered into rest June 5, 2023.

Mr. McMillan was a native of Macon County, Alabama graduating from Tuskegee Institute High School in 1970. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Chehaw AME Zion Church.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Turner McMillan; a son, Trevor (Irene) Frazer; a daughter, Yolanda Frazer; a sister, Dorothy Barnett; three grandchildren, Shayaundra Walker, Trebonte Frazer and Jordan Frazer; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at St. John Baptist Church of which the Rev. Curtis Blocker pastor and Pastor Michael Gamble eulogist. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the funeral home.
