It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Edna L. Brown who entered into rest May 28, 2023.

Ms. Brown, a native of Barnwell County, was a member of St. Mary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Brown of Augusta, GA and Marie Brown of New Ellenton, SC; four sons, Paul (Kathleen) Holley of Jacksonville, FL, Ellis (Karina) Brown, Ricky (Anrenee) Brown both of Aiken, SC and Melvin Brown of Augusta, GA; one sister, Josephine Simpkins of Augusta, GA; one brother, David Holley of Atlanta, GA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 2, 2023 at St. Mary Baptist Church (Martin, SC) with the Rev. Christopher Holley officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
