Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Elder John D. Lamback who entered into rest March 13, 2023 at NHC Healthcare, North Augusta.


Elder Lamback was a native of Aiken County and a graduate of Jefferson High School. He was an Elder of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Riverview. He worked for Emsig Manufacturing Corporation as a manager.


Survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline (David, Sr.) Misher and Averil Yvette (Joseph) Butler; two brothers, Dr. Charles R. (Judy) Lamback and Alfonso (Mary) Lamback; four sisters, Fannie Stewart, Geraldine Barnes, Louise (Willie) Green and Christine (William) Chandler; three grandchildren, David C. (Michaela) Misher, Jr., Jessica D. Misher and John D. Butler; two great grandchildren, David C. Misher, III and Makenna L. Misher; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Riverview. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
