With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Ms. Eleanor Adams who entered into rest August 25, 2026.

Ms. Adams, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Jacksonville Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Thomasina (Freddie) Dais and Brenda (Douglas) Dandy; four brothers, Roger Adams, Jr., Rev. James A. (Edith) Adams, Jessie (Patricia) Adams and Larry (Brenda) Adams; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 31, 2026 at Jacksonville Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Joshua Bryant is the pastor and the Rev. James A. Adams eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
