With heavy hearts, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Elease S. Collins who entered into rest February 19, 2026.

Mrs. Collins, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline Simpkins, Linda (Levi III) Andrews and Valeria (Eltoro) Smith; one son, Paul Collins; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Oscar W. Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
