It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Elimuel Franchell "Lenny" Brown who entered into rest September 15, 2023.

Mr. Brown, a native of Aiken County, was a 1971 graduate of North Augusta High School and a truck driver for Augusta Ready Mix. He was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon "Cookie" Roberson Brown; a daughter, Michelle Brown (Shedrick) Lundy; two sons, Elimuel Franchell (Sherry) Brown, Jr. and Tremelle Demar (Dr. Jessica) Brown; three sisters, Thermese Brown, Frances (Dexter) Carr and Bonita Brown; two brothers, Nelson (Beverly) Brown and Seth Perkins; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
