It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Elizabeth Holmes who entered into rest March 7, 2024.

Ms. Holmes, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1974 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Annette (Willie) Underwood and Ernestine (Ronald) Abney; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, March 15, 2024 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Derra Ramsey is pastor and the Rev. Gene Mobley eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
