With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary announces the transition of Mrs. Eloise Bowman who entered into rest April 11, 2026.

Mrs. Bowman, a native of Orangeburg County, was a member of Beulah Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tommie Bowman; one daughter, Latanya Bowman of North Augusta, SC; two sons, Travis (Carol) Bowman of Summerville, SC and Terris (Abigail) Bowman of Evans, GA; seven sisters, Mary Dixon of Rowesville, SC, Willie Mae Boyd, Albertha (Rogers) Jarvis, Geneva Boyd (Dorian), Laverne (Jerome) Felder, Monica (Terry) Evans all of Orangeburg, SC and Edith (James) Williams of Lawrenceville, GA; two brothers, William Boyd, Jr. and Joseph (Cynthia) Boyd of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
