It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Eric K. Hughes who entered into rest November 11, 2022.

Mr. Hughes, a native of New York was a member of First Baptist Church of Crown Height, Brooklyn, NY.

Survivors include a daughter, Shakiria D. Hughes; two sons, Kwame N. Hughes and Rashard E. Hughes; his mother, Patricia Diane Hughes; a brother, Timothy Jackson; his grandmother, Bessie English; six grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Kroc Center of Augusta with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Interment will be in the Holloway Cemetery. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 3- 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
