With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Ernest Quarles who entered into rest November 20, 2024.

Mr. Quarles, a native of Edgefield County, attended the public schools of Edgefield County.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include two daugthers, Kesler Holloway of Edgefield, SC and Sharhonda Yeldell of Hephzibah, GA; one son, Regis Quarles of Overland Park, KS; two brothers, Tommy Mealing of North Augusta, SC and Joseph (Annie) Quarles of Trenton, SC; a grandson, Derrius Simpkins; a great-grandchild, Maddison Simpkins; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary with the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. officiating. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Tuesday.
