With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Ernest Turner who entered into rest December 22, 2024.

Mr. Turner was the Co-Owner of Turner Brothers Logging. He was a member of Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Andrea V. Green (Rico) and Layatta Bene' Turner; one son, Ernest Lamont Turner (Toyia); two sisters, Justine Butler and Bettie T. Jackson; one brother, Johnnie (Minnie Pearl) Turner; his former wife, Vicki Patterson Turner; a sister-in-law, Fannie M. Turner; an aunt, Essie Turner; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four Godchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 30, 2024 at Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence D. Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
