With deepest sympathy we announce the transition of Ms. Essie Deloris Davis Cofield who entered into rest August 26, 2024.

Ms. Cofield, a native of Aiken County, was a graduate of Martha Schofield High School and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne A. (Pamela) Josey of Aiken, SC and Robert L. Cofield of Sally, SC; six grandchildren; aunts, Fannie Mae Gunter and Norma Westmorlane; an uncle, Louis (Ann) Johnson; six grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Roydell Dicks, Sr. officiating.
