It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Eugene Cook who entered into rest June 17, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Cook was a 1964 graduate of Jefferson High School and a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Inez Curry Cook, a daughter, Castealia Deneen Cook, a son, Victor Eugene Cook; four grandchildren, Jaden M. Cook, Skylar U.V. Cook, Jakobe J. Cook and Ashton J. Arnold; a brother, James (Barbara) Cook, Jr.,, six sisters, Fannie Turner, Dorothy Cook, Estella Ragland, Geraldine (James) Jones, Carrie L. (Arthur) Abraham, Jr., and Lillian (Robert) Allen; a step daughter, Kathy (Mike) Conner; and a host of step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Old Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Darrell Blocker eulogist and Rev., Dr. Leonard O. Griffin pastor. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mask and social distancing will be required. Viewing will be held from 2-5;30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
