It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Evelyn J. Dailey who entered into rest February 7, 2023.

Mrs. Dailey, formerly of Norfolk, VA, was a native of Rocky Mount, NC.

Survivors include four daughters, Vickie (Gerald) Graham of Aiken, SC, Roderica Curbeam, Palmer, OH, Sabrina McGee of Camp Springs, MD, and Evelyn (Cookie) Veal of Norfolk, VA; one son, Michael (Faye) Jones of Suffolk, VA; one brother, Charles (Debbie) Cooper of Framingham, MA; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Marlon Hudson officiating. Viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until the hour of service on Saturday. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page.
