Obituary

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Ms. Fatima L. Wade who entered into rest March 29, 2026.

Ms. Wade was a native of Aiken County where she attended the Public Schools of Aiken County. She went on to further her education at Aiken Technical College and worked as a Beautician.

Survivors include one daughter, Ricquanza Jones; three sons, Ricquan Jones, Ricquez Jones and Ricquarious Jones; her mother, Mattie Wade; one sister, Fedirra (Morris, Jr.) Bryant; a grandchild, Nova Jones; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 4, 2026 at St. Phillip Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eric T. Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
