It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Felix A. Sumpter who entered into rest November 7, 2024.

Mr. Sumpter, a native of Sumter, SC was a 1978 graduate of Hillcrest High School. He was a member of Carpentersville Baptist Church

Survivors include a daughter, Felicia Carroll; a brother, Kenneth Mickens; three grandchildren; a dear friend, Shirley McDaniel; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Carpentersville Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman Bing officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
