It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Freddie C. Lloyd, Jr. who entered into rest December 22, 2023.

Mr. Lloyd, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1969 graduate of Martha Schofield High School. He was a member of Shaws Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Doris (Jesse) Bates and Delorise (Rev. Arthur) Gordon both of Aiken, SC; one brother, Thomas Lloyd of Aiken, SC; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church where the Rev. Michael Walker is pastor and the Rev. Edward Lloyd eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
