It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Freddie L. Smith who entered into rest February 8, 2024.

Mr. Smith was a native of Aiken County.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Smith; one daughter, Tyesha Simmons; two sons, Fredrick Smith (Tequila Hill) and Eric Frazier; one sister, Dr. Gloria (Rev. Leroy) Robinson; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Evening Light Church of God with Dr. Gloria Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery/ Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
