Obituary

With deep and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Freddie D. Washington who entered into rest January 16, 2025.

Mr. Washington was a native of Aiken County.

Survivors include his daughter, Genesis Washington; his mother, Beatrice W. Hightower; eight sisters, Latoya Washington, Renee Washington, Ishia (Marvin) Hammond, Mary Kenyale Hightower, Jasmine Hightower, Amanda Copeland, Tamara Copeland, and Brittany Hightower; two brothers, Austin Copeland and Martell Hightower; two grandmothers, Louise Washington and Katie Mae Copeland; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 22, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. John Gibson officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.

Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-Aiken.
