It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Frederick Eugene McKie who entered into rest February 17, 2025.

Mr. McKie, a native of New York, attended school in New York. He was a construction worker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Staten Island, NY.

Survivors include two sons, Donte Dashon McKie and Jonte Kashon McKie; a sister, Jeannene (Mike) Santiago; a devoted partner, Dee Dee Ferrer and her daughter, Kayree Ayala; four grandchildren, Aubrey J. McKie, Jahnae A. McKie, Mila K. McKie and Myelle D. McKie; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, February 24, 2024 at Old Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Leonard O. Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing Only on Monday from 10 am until 11 am.
