George Deatron Jones, Jr.

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. George D. Jones, Jr. who entered into rest July 15, 2026.

Mr. Jones was a native of Greenwood County and resided in Graniteville, SC.

Survivors include his parents, Lacy Singleton and George Jones, Sr.; daughters, Malayia Sky Jones and A'Nari Jalayah Judge; sons, Demarkus Gordon and Cameron Deatron Jones; sisters, Latecia Tomeka Singleton, Catavier Demetrius Singleton and Deketrian Janese Singleton; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the Edgefield Town Gym. Interment will follow in the Republican Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
