It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Georgia Mae Lindsey who entered into rest April 17, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Mrs. Lindsey, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Willie Ann Mention of Aiken, SC; one son, Dexter Sylvester Lindsey of Trenton, SC; six sisters, Alpha Carr of White Plains, MD, Beatrice Plater, Annie Christie, Martha Walker all of Edgefield, SC, Omelia (William) Anderson of Johnston, SC, and Mildred (Nathan) Goodwin of Trenton, SC; one brother, Troy Talbert of Edgefield, SC; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, April 22, 2022 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin L. Gordon officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
