With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mrs. Gertrude D. Mitchell Mosley who entered into rest October 30, 2024.

Mrs. Mosley, a native of McCormick County, was a member of Laura Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Mosley, Jr.; two sons, Gerald Mosley of Ellenwood, GA and Timothy Mosley of Edgefield, SC; one daughter, Angela Campbell of Hinesville, GA; two sisters, Mamie Latimore of Augusta, GA and Katie (Ernest) Hammond of Mitchellville, MD; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where the Rev. Oscar W. Brown is the pastor and the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
