It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Glennie E. Jones who entered into rest April 24, 2022.

Mrs. Jones was a native of Wadesboro, NC. She was a graduate of Bassick High School, Bridgeport, CT. In 1990, she relocated to Trenton, SC where she became a Teacher's Assistant at Douglas Elementary School, retiring after 18 years of service. Later she returned to the work force at Bettis Preparatory Leadership Academy. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses serving as a pioneer.

Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Elvin Jones, Sr.; two sons, Elvin E. (Carolyn) Jones and Steve L. (Jennifer) Jones; a brother, Robert (Joyce) Pratt; two sisters, Garthalia Johnson and Francenya Hailey; one uncle, Robert Cash; one aunt, Patricia Gaddy; a host of other relatives and friends.

A virtual service by Zoom will be held at 2 pm Saturday, April 30, 2022 with Elder Mark Owens officiating.
