It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Gloria Jean Ligons who entered into rest August 17, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Mrs. Ligons, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Coleman Ridge Baptist Church. She was employed with Dodgeland of Columbia.

Survivors include her husband, Ivory Ligons of the home; Children/God-Children, Kesha (Welvin) Simpkins of Rock Hill, SC, Shayla Pixley of Aiken, SC, Kevin Bibbs of Columbia, SC, Lynwood Pixley, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, and Jay Cummings of Batesburg, SC; two sisters, Dorothy Bibbs of Johnston, SC and Annie Pixley of Aiken, SC; one brother, Leroy (Patricia) Bibbs of Saluda, SC; two grandchildren, Braylen and Braxton Simpkins; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at River of Life Church with the Rev. T J Conley officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
