With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Ms. Grace H. Butler who entered into rest June 9, 2026.

Ms. Butler, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip Tyrone Butler and Melvin (Tawanda) Butler; a loving Goddaughter, Trickson Stevens; two sisters, Claudia (Garcia) Lawton and Doris Gilchrist; one brother, John L. Gilchrist; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Interment will follow in the China Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
