It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Grace Helen Butler Freeman who entered into rest February 2, 2025.

Ms. Freeman, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1964 graduate of W. E. Parker High School. She was owner of Grace's Hair Design in Augusta.

Survivors include a son, Reginald O'Neal (Nicole) Freeman; two brothers, Raymond (Eunice) Butler and George (Willie Mae) Butler; three sisters, Annie Mae (Allen) Williams, Myrtis (Joe) Smith and Henrietta (Rev. Reginald) Grimes; six grandchildren, Reginald Freeman, Brandon Freeman, Destin Freeman, Nicarie Freeman, Isaiah Freeman and Essence Freeman;

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Word of Faith Outreach Ministries, North Augusta where the Rev. Reginald Butler, pastor and the Rev. Reginald Grimes eulogist. Interment will follow in Bland Baptist Church Cemetery, Johnston, SC. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
