It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Gregory A. Anthony who entered into rest August 18, 2023.

Mr. Anthony is the son of Charles Anderson, Sr. and Barbara Danley.

Survivors include two sons, Daiton Malik Anthony and Dreshaun Antonio Anthony; his parents, Charles Anderson, Sr., and Barbara Jean (Robert L.) Danley; twelve sisters, Paulette (Dwayne) Campbell, Sharon (Arthur) Pride, Yvette Anthony, Terenda Anthony, Sabrina (Willie Brannon) Staley, Shavette (George) Smith-Ratliff, Cathy Anderson, Michelle Anderson, Yvonne Staley, Teresa Staley, Brandi Tracey and Samantha Tracey; four brothers, Willie Joe Price, Charles Anderson, Jr., Tryrie (Stacy) Anderson and Francis Anderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church of which the Rev. Michael Walker pastor and the Rev. Lorenzo Williams eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
