It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Gregory T. Merriweather, Sr. who entered into rest July 11, 2022.

Mr. Merriweather, a native of Aiken County, was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include four daughters, LaToya Robinson of Warrenville, SC, Stephanie (Marcus) Perry of New Ellenton, SC, Tameika (Travis) Martin of Aiken, SC, and Taneshia Hood of North Augusta, SC; four sons, Gregory Merriweather, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC, Terrance (Alysa) Hood of North Augusta, SC, Tevin Hood of Graniteville, SC, and Gregory Merriweather of Laurinburg, NC; four sisters, Sonya (Marion) Curry, Gina Merriweather, Lynn Wade, and Beverly Greene all of Aiken, SC; one brother, Ronnie Merriweather of Aiken, SC; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence D. Hill officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
