Obituary

G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Ms. Gussie M. Walker who entered into rest November 14, 2025.

Ms. Walker, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Walker Davis and J. Walker El; two sisters, Sarah Dunbar and Levett Dunbar; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Four Mile Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Christopher L. Holley, Sr. is the pastor and the Rev. Raiford Roundtree officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-Aiken.
