It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Hattie Bell McCain Collier who entered into rest February 24, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Willie K. McCain and Henrietta Morgan McCain, born on July 25, 1934 in Edgefield County, SC. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Brooklyn and a former member of Carey Hill Baptist Church, Clarks Hill, SC.

Survivors include a son, Daryl Collier, Trenton, SC; a daughter, Linda Collier, Brooklyn, NY; a brother; Sylvester (Shirley) McCain and a sister, Julia McCain Simpkins both of Brooklyn, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church (230 Decatur Street, Brooklyn, NY) with the Pastor Sean Lee officiating. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, NJ. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service.
