It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Helen Jean Rouse Jones who entered into rest June 13, 2025.

Mrs. Jones, a native of Edgefield County, attended the Edgefield County Public School System. She was a member of Republican Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Jones; two sons, Travis L. (Belinda) Jones and Joseph D. (Martine) Jones; five brothers, Walter (Debra) Rouse, Ronnie (Cynthia) Rouse, Raleigh (Tina) Rouse, Odell (Jennifer) Williams and Willie Williams; five sisters, Mary Jane (James) Roberts, Bernice (Albert) Moore, Catherine Rouse, Patricia Rouse (Benjamin Thomas) and Gloria Rouse; brothers-in-law, Robert (Diane) Jones and Luke Jones; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Jackson, Jozell (Adell) Dobey and Lisa Rouse; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Republican Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm. until 5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
