It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Henry Crawford who entered into rest May 19, 2023.

Mr. Crawford was a 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of Ridge Hill Baptist Church and he attended First Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Susanna Johnson Crawford; a son, Brandon K. (Jamie) Crawford; four sisters, Joan (Frank) Mims, Sylvia (Melvin) Brooks, Angela Brown and Julia Brown; four brothers, Leroy Daniel (Kimberly) Brown, James A. (Brenda) Brown, Leroy Reginald (Renee) Brown and Corey Frazier; one grandchild, Christian Aman Crawford; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, May 26, 2023 at First Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Alexander Pope, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. Masks are required. Viewing will be held from 4-6 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
