With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Heyward L. Chitty who entered into rest December 13, 2024.

Mr. Chitty, a native of Barnwell County, was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include three sisters, Gloria Waller, Sarah Holloway and Alice Brown; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life, with Military Honors, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 11, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in Hope Memorial Park, Barnwell, SC. There will be NO VIEWING.
