Ida Ramsey Barnes

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Ida R. Barnes who entered into rest October 12, 2026.

Mrs. Barnes, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served in the Usher Ministry and Senior Choir.

Survivors include a devoted daughter, Eileen Miles; a foster daughter, Dorothy Daniels; stepdaughter, Min. Annette (Jerry) Holloway; stepsons, Andy Barnes and Olin Barnes, Jr.; granddaughter, Iesha T. Harris; great-granddaughter, Zayden J. Harris; a brother, Evans Ramsey; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Ramsey, Josephine Ramsey and Robbie McBride; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
