Irma M. Johnson

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Ms. Irma M. Johnson who entered into rest June 1, 2026.

Ms. Johnson, a native of Barnwell County, was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Deirdra Parks; four sisters, Carrie (Rev. James) Hogan, Rosa B. Hersey, Annie Wright and Diane Bell; one brother, Joe E. (Annette) Bell; grandchildren, Jameeka Parks and Terrence (Leah) Parks; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, June 5, 2026 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Cornelius Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will only be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association .

Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
