G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Irving B. Reynolds who entered into rest December 9, 2025..

Mr. Reynolds, a native of Burke County, attended Butler High School. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Chandra Mims Reynolds; a daughter, Iesha M. Jones; two sons, Bernard Jones and Matthew Bernard Collier; two sisters, Felicia Reynolds and Renee (Kelvin) Taylor; two brothers, Eric Reynolds and Tim Robinson; ten grandchildren, Kevon Jones, Kei'andre May, Caesar Philpot, Asia Jones, Ava Jones, Ashiya Jones, Caelsy Philpot, Terrence Herrin, Aries Mason and Mackari Golden; father-in-law, Ricky Mims; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, December 14, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Charles E. Goodman officiating. Viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
