It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Isiah Blocker who entered into rest January 5, 2024.

Mr. Blocker, a native of Edgefield County was a 1962 graduate of Edgefield County High School. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, Trenton, SC.

Survivors include his wife, Fannie Mason Blocker; two sons, Edwin O. (Karissa) Blocker and Eric (Merryll) Blocker; four brothers, Walter (Felicia) Blocker, Willie Herbert Blocker, Thomas (Connie) Blocker and Gary (Emina) Blocker: two sisters, Pearlean (Joe) Robbins and Mamie (Marion) Gardenhire; five grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with Edwin O. Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.
