It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. J. D. Jackson who entered into rest October 20, 2023.

Mr. Jackson was a native of Barnwell County.

Survivors include a niece, Diane Patterson of Aiken, SC; a nephew, Clay Jackson of Aiken, SC; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2023 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
