It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Jamell J. Garrett, I who entered into rest December 3, 2023.

Mr. Garrett was a 1989 graduate of North Augusta High School. He retired as an Operations Manager from Rooms To Go. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sharhonda N. Garrett; a daughter, Sierra R. Garrett; five sons, Kiemont Garrett (Britti Cody), Jamell Garrett, II, Jaden Garrett, Terry Grimsley and Noriega Riddle; four sisters, Mamie P. (Anthony) Tapp, Candice Garrett, Fannie Garrett and Theresa (Ron) Hawkins; aunt, Michelle Davis, uncle, Willie Davis; three grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, North Augusta with the Rev. Clarence D. Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Monday at the funeral home.
