It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. James Jock Lanham who entered into rest February 14, 2023.

Mr. Lanham was a native of Edgefield County and a graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. He attended Northeastern University and Tennessee State University. His lifelong love of a certain kind of "engineered tinkering" led him to work in the Electronics Lab at Clemson University.

Survivors include his mother, Willa J. Lanham; a brother, J. Drew Lanham (Janice); two sisters, Julia E. Lanham and Jennifer Lanham-Holloway (Zachary); a devoted cousin, Audrey Adams McCain (Joseph); and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 am Monday, February 20, 2023 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel.
