It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. James E. Lee who entered into rest September 19, 2023.

Mr. Lee, a native of Edgefield County, was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lee of the home; three sons, Patrick (Ngozi) Lee of Sicklerville, NJ, Torrey Lee of Graniteville, SC and Justin (Kimberly) Lee of Emeryville, CA; five sisters, Joanne Quarles, Carolyn Simpkins, Elaine (Maurice) Thomas all of North Augusta, SC, Gloria (George) Griffin and Doris (Luther) Tanks both of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Clifford Quarles of North Augusta, SC; two grandchildren, Adonis Lee of New Jersey and Naliya Lee of California; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
