It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Janice L. Thurmond who entered into rest March 15, 2023.

Ms. Thurmond, a native of Aiken County, was a 1969 graduate of Martha Schofield High School.

Survivors include her sisters, Gwendolyn Thurmond of Columbia, SC and Olivia Thurmond of Aiken, SC; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
