It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Janie Mae Quarles who entered into rest June 27, 2022 at Edgefield Post Acute.

Mrs. Quarles, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served on the Deaconess Board and Senior Choir.
Survivors include three sons, Tommy Mealing, Earnest Quarles, and Joseph (Annie) Quarles; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Bethlehem Baptist Church where the Rev. Leonard Franklin, Jr. is the pastor and the Rev. Edward Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 - 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
