Jesse James Mealing II

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Jesse J. Mealing II who entered into rest May 31, 2026.

Mr. Mealing, a native of McCormick County, was a member of Mims Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Lee Stevens; three sons, Roderick Timothy (Angel) Mealing, Sr., John Phillip Mealing and James Morton; five sisters, Mattie (Juan) Sanchez, Mary Alice Hunter, Brenda (Rev. Sam) Broadwater, Roberta (Edward) Lott and Eva Mae Moore; three brothers, David T. Mealing, Joseph Mealing and Albert Mealing; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 5, 2026 at Mims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Gabriella Stevens officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
