It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Jessie M. Middleton, the wife of the late Rev. Sam Middleton, who entered into rest April 6, 2022.

Mrs. Middleton was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Joe L. (Leslie) Mackie; two daughters, Marie (Winston, Sr.) Morris and Shrelle V. Grim; a brother, McArthur (Diane) Stevens; two sisters, Malissa Bussey and Vicurtis Robinson; seventeen grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, April 15, 2022 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. David Colvin officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
