It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. John "Scooter" Dorsey, Jr. who entered into rest August 6, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Dorsey attended North Augusta High School.

Survivors include a daughter, Joh'nyia Lashae Dorsey; three sisters, Judy Dorsey, Annie Dorsey and Vanessa Dorsey; a brother, Scott A. Dorsey; aunt, Mattie Bell Oden; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Sunday, August 14, 2022 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Viewing will be held from1-4 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
