It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. John Hawkins who entered into rest March 26, 2022.

Mr. Hawkins was a graduate of North Augusta High School and a member of Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Sims Hawkins; a son, Michael Odom; two daughters, Marticia Martin and Tammy Martin; his mother, Annie L. Quiller Hawkins; a brother, Thomas (PeTrina) Hawkins; four sisters, Hattie Mae (David) Lanham, Annie M. (Hampton) James, Mamie L. (John) Ardis and Geneva (Gerald) McKie; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clarence D. Hill officiating. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
