It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. John Lee Morton who entered into rest December 24, 2021.

Mr. Morton was a native of Aiken County and a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the usher's ministry and male chorus. He worked for Gibbs Paint and Body Shop as a mechanic.

Survivors include two sons, Timothy Lee (Dimineike) Morton and Tyrone Morton; a daughter, Angela Nichole Morton; a brother, James (Helen) Morton; five sisters, Carrie Hacker, Susie Johnson, Bertha Vaughn, Mary Sharpton and Zora (Willie) Miller; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, January 8, 2021 in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, North Augusta with the Rev. Ulysses Cummings officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
